How to Draw Zekrom from Pokemon in Step by Step Lesson

Zekrom is a dual-type Pokemon which is of both Electric and Dragon Type. Zekrom appears to be some sort of dragon with heavy scales covering his body.  Today we will show you how to draw this very special Pokemon character which is also the mascot of Pokemon White.

How to Draw Zekrom from Pokemon in Step by Step Lesson

Step 1

Start with a flat oval.

Step 2

For the body, use a cone shape pointing upwards.

Step 3

The hands start out as fan shapes. The arms are almost as thick as the hands.

Step 4

For the legs, draw a tear shape for the foreleg. The feet should be just as long, and are triangle shaped.

Step 5

Draw squares on either shoulder for his wings.

Step 6

Let’s draw Zekrom’s face. Start with the eye. Draw a jagged line from the eye towards the back for his horns. Avoid any curves to give it a sort of crystal texture.

Step 7

Draw his arms now. Add three cone shapes for the claws. At the edge of his hands, draw three square shapes along the edge.

Step 8

Use the same technique for the wings.

Step 9

For the body, start by drawing the border for the chest. Add the crystal near the neck and finish up with the bottom.

Step 10

For the legs, start with the feet first. Draw three ovals for his toes. Add a spiky bit for his ankle. Draw a diamond shape for the knees.

Step 11

Finally draw a cone behind his waist. Add a few spikes sticking out near the tip.

Shade out the dark spots on his body. Try to alternate light and dark shades to give Zekrom a crystal-like texture.
