How to Draw Clank from Ratchet & Clank in Easy Steps

Today we will show you how to draw Clank, a robot from the Ratchet and Clank video series. We will guide you thru a set of step by step drawing instructions that should help you draw Clank. Have fun!

How to Draw Clank from Ratchet & Clank Step by Step Drawing Tutorial

Step 1

– Draw an oval-ish shape. Then draw guidelines thru it to help place facial features later.

Step 2

– Then draw the basic shape of the body. Draw a letter ‘C’-like shape on the left (highlighted in red) and then draw an upside down letter ‘U’ shape (highlighted in blue). Close off the shape with a link (green).

Step 3

– Now draw the basic shapes of the arms with oval-like shapes and curved lines.

Step 4

– Now draw the basic shapes of the legs and feet. Draw oval knees and capital letter ‘D’-like shaped feet. And draw letter ‘U’ shaped ankles. Connect the knees to the body with lines.

Step 5

– Draw ovals for eyes.

Step 6

– Now draw some basic shapes for other parts of the face.

– Draw ovals and rectangles along the mouth area.

– Draw the antenna at the top of the head as well as the vent-ish area below it.

Step 7

– Draw the details of the body … such as on the front you make trapezoid-like shapes. Within to draw sideways letter ‘L’ shapes.

– Draw a sideways letter ‘Y’ shape (highlighted in blue) …a backwards letter ‘L’ shape  (highlighted in red) and a curved ‘J’ shaped line (highlighted in green).

– Draw some shapes in the shoulder area.

Step 8

– Things are starting to get more complicated but just look at the basic shapes and you will be fine. I highlighted parts in different colors to make them easier to draw.

Step 9

– Draw the details of the legs and feet.
