How to Draw Sophie Hatter Pendragon from Howl’s Moving Castle Step by Step Tutorial
Today I will show you how to draw Sophie Hatter Pendragon
from Howl’s Moving Castle. In the beginning of the movie, Sophie has long brown hair, but at the end she has white/grayish hair which is the result of the curse. Today I will show you how to draw the short-haired grey version of Sophie Hatter. Have Fun!

How to Draw Sophie Hatter Pendragon from Howl’s Moving Castle in Easy Steps Lesson
Step 1
Lightly draw a circle and rectangle for the basic structure of the head. Then draw a guideline thru the center.
Step 2
– Draw 2 lemon shapes…one for each eye. Make sure that there is enough space between the eyes (the green lemon is to show you that there is more than one eye width apart).
Step 3
– Draw 2 ovals in each eye.
– Draw a letter ‘s’-shaped curve for the nose.
– Draw a chin and the side of the face, using the guides to help you place it.
Step 4
– Draw a letter ‘c’ shape for each ear.
– Thicken the upper and lower eye lids.
– Draw a curved line for each nostril.
– Draw a curved line for the mouth and lip.
Step 5
– Draw a hair line above the head.
– Draw the bangs with two letter ‘w’-like shapes.
– Draw letter ‘v’ shaped eye lashes. Draw 2 circles in each eye for highlights.
– Draw a ?-like shape in the left ear.
– Draw a letter ‘Y’-like shape for the collar.
Step 6
– Draw a hair guidelines on the left.
– Draw a letter ‘W’ and ‘M’ shape for the bangs.
– Draw a check mark-like shape for each eye brow.
– Draw hair on the right side of the face…with two letter ‘W’ like shapes.
– Draw curvy lines around the collar…and under that draw a letter ‘U’ shaped curve.
Step 7
– Finish the eye brows with a curved line.
– Draw letter ‘v’ like shapes along the guidelines on the left side of the face.
– Draw a letter ‘s’ shaped curve on the left side of the face.
– Draw the shoulder line on the right side of the neck.
– Add details to the collar / neck. Draw buttons.
Step 8
– Draw a letter ‘v’ shaped side burn on the left side of the face.
– Draw curved letter ‘v’ shapes for the left side hair.
– Draw a curved line for the left shoulder and a sideways #2-like shape.
Step 9
– Draw a few more details.
– Erase the guidelines.
Finished Drawing of Sophie Hatter Pendragon
