Owls are so adorable and I just love to draw them. They are pretty easy to draw too. I will show you how to draw adorable cartoon owls with simple to follow steps, using the shapes of letters and numbers. This is a great drawing tutorial for kids of all ages and even preschoolers. Have Fun!

How to Draw Cartoon Owl on Branch Easy Step by Step Drawing Tutorial for Kids
Step 1
– Draw an oval with guidelines thru it…to help you place the facial features.
Step 2
– Draw ovals on the owl..using the blue lines to help you figure out where to put them.
– Draw a letter ‘U’ shape on top of the head.
Step 3
– Draw triangles on top of the head.
– Draw ovals inside the eyes.
– Draw curved line in between the eyes.
Step 4
– Draw letter ‘J’ shapes for wings.
– Draw letter ‘v’ shape for the beak.
Step 5
– Draw curved lines inside the wings.
– Draw lines beneath the owl for the branch.
Step 6
– Draw curved lines for the claws.
– Draw a letter ‘v’ shape inside the branch.
Step 7
– Draw curved lines on top and bottom of the claws.
Step 8
Change the sides of the ears to have a sideways letter ‘M’ on it … so it is a bit zig-zaggy. Erase any guidelines and darken any remaining lines.
Finished Drawing of Cartoon Owl
– Use any colors you want to colorize the owl and branch. I thought the owl would look pretty with blue / orange / yellow.

I did a drawing test run first to see how it would look when I did it, and it turned out great! Going to draw it onto canvas and paint for my baby boys room!

OMG I drawed this ages ago and it turned out great but I lost my art book but now im drawing it again on a canvas and im going to buy some paint to make it look colourful cute, this is a great way to spend your spare time, I love it thanks for the idea.
