Today you will learn how to draw a family of cartoon chickens. The Papa Rooster and Mama Hen are angry at theirĀ baby chicks. I have no idea why, but those babies are getting scolded for some naught deed that they have done. I will guide you to drawing them with easy shapes, such as geometric shapes, letters, and numbers. Have fun learning to draw them.

– Start drawing the basic shapes of the chickens…these will be the guides for your characters.
– Draw guide legs and then draw the feet guidelines which are the shapes of letter ‘Y’s.
– Draw ovals and a few other details.
– Draw a few #3-like shapes.
– Draw some zig-zaggy shapes on the rooster and letter ‘M’ shapes on the legs.
– Outline all the guides for the feet and legs.
– Draw letter ‘m’ shaped humps on the chicken, as well as a letter ‘U’ for the wing and on the head. Also draw a letter ‘v’ shape around the neck area.
– Draw eyes on all the chickens…which are ovals on most of the chickens…but one of the chicks has a letter ‘D’ eye.
– Draw a few #3-like shapes and a #2-like shape on the Rooster. Draw a lowercase letter ‘b’ eye. Finish off the upper legs.
– Draw letter ‘v’ shaped claws on all the chickens.
– Add ovals in each of the eyes.
– Draw a bunch of #3-like shapes on the chickens, as well as other shapes such as a #2, a ?-shape, letter ‘s’ shaped curve, and a sideways letter ‘A’ shape.
– Add other details as well.
– Add some zig-zag shapes for feathers.
– Finish off the beaks and add other details to the chickens.
– Add some finishing details.
– Erase the guidelines and then you have a great picture of a family of chickens.
